Assessment is a period of time applied to a Tier 2 or Tier 1 Applicant that begins when they are Approved out of Chargen and ends after a stated period. It is in many ways a probationary period that allows the Staff and Player to determine whether roleplaying an advanced or Feature-like character is appropriate for them. It is important to note this is not only a benefit for Staff, but also for the Player, as they are given a green card to play for the Assessment period so that they personally might determine if the character is right for them. Not taking advantage of this period of review is as much a disservice to the player as to the game. Below are some notes on Assessment Policy.

  • Tier 2 Applicants have a 2 WEEK Assessment period.
  • Tier 1 Applicants have a 1 MONTH Assessment period.
  • Those in Assessment must submit 1 LOG every week during Assessment. The log must be edited to include only poses and +rolls and sent in .txt or .doc format to moc.liamg|nimdaaws#moc.liamg|nimdaaws
  • Those requesting a Ship out of Chargen will not receive the ship until AFTER the Assessment period, during which however they may RP owning one.
  • Those playing nobles, royalty, sovereigns, business owners, crime bosses or any other Tier 2 or Tier 3 type characters will receive extra Credits as a Bank Roll AFTER the Assessment period if possession of wealth is part of their background.
  • Those in Assessment may receive +noms, however they may not level up if they gain enough XP to do so.
  • No advancement of Skills, Attributes, or Powers is allowed during Assessment.
  • Jedi Apprentices may not be taken as Padawans until they pass Assessment, and Knights may not take a Padawan until they pass Assessment.
  • During the Assessment period the character is the sole possession of the player. AFTER Assessment Tier 1 characters become the possession of the game, while Tier 2 character may be given to the game by the player.
  • Staff has the right to deny a player a character at the end of the Assessment period if Staff feels the character is not suitably played or presented. Players agree to this policy upon creating a Tier 2 or Tier 1 application. Denial of character at the end of Assessment should not be taken as an insult, but a fair assessment of the character's ability to be integrated into the game.
  • Please note that for any Force user (especially Jedi or darksider) will still be scrutinized by the Force Wizard for appropriate play even well after Assessment ends, and reserves the right to remove a Force-user character bit if a player is not RPing their character appropriately for the theme.
