The rank of Jedi Master is perhaps the most ambiguous one to determine appropriately, however there is one circumstance which grants the title: taking on a Padawan and training them to the rank of Jedi Knight. Once that has been accomplished, the Jedi becomes a Master. Sometimes the rank of Jedi Master is granted for other outstanding service such as preventing war, making a contribution to the freedom of a people and otherwise providing for and mastering aspects of The Force.

Attaining the rank of Jedi Master is a hard feat, but it is possible. There are no hard or fast rules, however in terms of game mechanics, we will use the one definite circumstance: training a Padawan to Knight. One must also be a Jedi Master in order to take on 2 Padawan learners instead of the usual one that Jedi Knights are allowed to take.
